Bought this 24 inch HP VH240a Monitor to Extend my Macbook Pro 15.5 inch view to a Dual screen scenario and it delivered in beautiful glory. Thin, black, and a tall stand to use as a storage space below, the HP240a really added some flair to my office by giving me more screen space as well as it looks great without a big footprint.
Equipped with both VGA and HDMI connections this made connecting to my Mac a Snap! The HP VH240a Monitor is a true 23.8 inch view but is super crisp and has beautiful color. Lag rate is a non issue too when watching any video or playing any games. Also has that 16:9 aspect ratio with no glare everyone is after.
Has 2 integrated built in speakers if desired however I have my macbook audio pumped out to Bluetooth powered speakers so cant say I’ve really tested the audio out.
Very competitively priced at 124.99 when compared to other brands too. Heck I’ve even seen some specials on Amazon when this is on sale for a little less. Time spent from opening the box to having the monitor up and running was under 5 minutes. Well designed packaging and easy to put together – no screwdriver required. Came with both a HDMI and an Aux cord too.
