When we decided to start Podcasting and inspire other people through our website, I wanted to find an affordable but very good and reliable USB Podcast Microphone. The SudoTack ST-800 is where I landed after all my studies. Have to say been very happy with it so far as it’s been very reliable and great for what we’re doing in the podcasting world. Plus it didn’t come close to breaking the Budget.
Super easy setup and plug and play right out of the box. Biggest obstacle I had was figuring out how to mount the spring loaded mic kit and stand to my desk. What I like most about this Mic is that it is 100% easy to use with my macbook and super easy to set up. Because it is a USB mic, you don’t need an audio mixer or interface for this to work.
This mic just makes your voice sound nice and smooth right out of the box, and that’s with no post processing and app use needed. I mean ya can use mixers to tweak but I found it really wasn’t needed. I’ve been totally surprised by the quality I got for my money. It’s been EXCELLENT for the recordings I’ve made, so far…
The Mic, Mic Cover, Cord, Scissor Boom Arm Mic Stand, Shock Mount, and Pop Filter are solid! I couldn’t have possibly asked for a better deal. Highly Recommend!
